An irresistible mini-exhibition is happening at Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center.

The other day we were in Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo, and happened to find out at Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center, located right in front of one of the tourist attractions, Kaminari Mon gate.

So being known as "the shoe town Asakusa,"
people have a lot to tell you.

Development in Taisho to Showa eras;
look how stylish people were at that time.

Later Showa era, "the Golden Age" for Asakusa shoe industry.

Matured, rather saturated Heisei era;
shoe manufacturers came up with a unique and unparallelled ways of promotion.

Wow, lovely!
