17th Online Piano Lesson

This week it was in Israel Time.

In my disturbed mind, after learning shocking and devastating news regarding our ex-PM in Japan, it was a somewhat healing moment for me to have this bi-weekly online lesson from the teacher from Israel.

Today, I got a few assignments regarding music theory and a song recording, which I am supposed to deliver to him over the internet before the next lesson.

Also, today he shared an excellent piece by Enrique Granados, whom I never knew, for the next practice song.

Enrique Granados - Andaluza

How my teacher played his piano amazingly by sight-reading was beautiful, and I wish I could play like him someday.

Guitar version: Granados - Andaluza (Segovia 1959)

My biggest lesson learned today was that when we are given excellent opportunities, we better never miss them, as life is too short of calculating and misjudging. I feel truly fortunate to get to know the best people in my life.
