My friend in Mumbai let us know this special fare as it was valid until 31st March reservation, but apparently ANA has extended the campaign for one more month.

*As of 6th July 2016, the special fare from Mumbai and Narita and vice-versa seems still valid. Contact ANA for more details.

On 27th March 2016, ANA started introducing Boeing 787, one of their state-of-the-art mid-size wide-body jet airliners, to the direct route connecting between Mumbai and Narita, New Tokyo International Airport, conventionally connected by a narrow-body small jet airliner Boeing 737-700 known as Business Jet (hence, there were very limited Economy Class seats availability.)

As a part of their inaugural campaigns, now they are providing very cost competitive airfare. If you book your flight to Tokyo Narita from Mumbai on or before 30th April 2016, regardless of your travel timing, you can buy the return tickets as low as 25,000INR, and domestic transfer to any city inside Japan with 500INR one way!

My tickets to temporary return to Japan in the mid-April will be Mumbai departure at 20:20 in the evening and Fukuoka arrival on the next afternoon 12:35 PM via Narita (arrives at 7:50 AM in the morning,) which cost me just around 36,000INR, including domestic return transfers from / to Narita, while I preferred the class that allows the date change with some extra charge.

It has become a significant saving for us as our favorite Singapore Airline fares usually cost us more than 60,000INR per person for the return trip between Mumbai and Fukuoka.

If you are planning to go on a vacation to Japan even after 1st May 2016, now is the great chance to at least reserve your tickets via ANA!!
