God give me power and discipline to host the tea party at least at after every three months.

*Small children also joined us :)

We have just had the August International Tea Party in Pune on 20th (Sun.) at Kargo, Koregaon Park.

Because it was also on the occasion of our Yossy's last Pune Tea Party, there were rather more Japanese, and Japanese-spoken people attended who especially dropped to meet her. Anyway, we had a fun time. Yossy had always been an essential member of the party who supported us from behind. I am going to miss her very much.

However, I must admit that the operation was poor in the beginning. According to Kargo, they were supposed to give us one entire space open to exchange freely as the timing we booked was out of their business hours. They made me sure about it when I visited them last Wednesday after my reservation.

Instead, when we arrived the restaurant on Sunday, they gave us two long tables to sit in rows, and that resulted in scattering the crowds into multiple (we were about 20 people.) Therefore, they took time for serving everyone's order (my coffee came after 30 minutes I ordered,) because they followed my request for charging every bill to the participant directly according to their promise beforehand.

Now I start feeling like Kargo is not very good or comfortable in managing the group considering the similar problem I experienced here when I had the Tea Party last year. I am surely going to give feedback to the restaurant.

In spite of their poor services, I was grateful for everyone who enjoyed the time.

Also, eventually (almost after more than an hour) all other customers went out; since then, we were quite mixing and mingling each other. So after all, can I say "All is Well That Ends Well," or you don't think so??

In recent years, Pune had increasingly become the attractive city to live for foreigners, because of fast development of shopping malls and fancy cafe and restaurants, which were hardly available when I started living here about 14 years ago.

Still, I think some people might still feel that there is lack of entertainments. I hope this Tea Parties will provide opportunities to such people to meet good friends from across the globe. As I spoke with my friends at the party on Sunday, I will try to host it at least once in three months. Please stay tuned!
