On 19th August 2003, the first article of ASKSiddhi was published on the internet! It was about an Indian restaurant in New York City that offered free food and chai to the people who endured the impact of the great blackout occurred in the world's largest city back then.
ニューヨーク停電:インドレストランが食事の無料提供(2003.8.19) - ASKSiddhi
Since then, while some spontaneous breaks in between, ASKSiddhi has continued publishing article almost every day, to let people in Japan know the real and contemporary, yet positive India. At the same time, I sometimes introduce interesting and important happenings and events observed in Japan for the people in the rest of the world.
In the past 14 years, ASKSiddhi brought me friends, jobs, and opportunities to learn about India, to participate in radio programs, and to be featured in a magazine published in Japan. Looking at my introvert yet lazy nature, all these could not have happened so smoothly without ASKSiddhi.
ASKSiddhi has brought me happiness and sense of appreciation at every time I publish the article for the day; I feel I am connected to unknown readers through the internet. ASKSiddhi has also taught me the philosophy of that "continuing something which you believe is good for others without expecting the result will eventually return you the best, regardless of whether it is the gift to you directly or to be paid forward to the next (future) generations."
On the 14th year of ASKSiddhi, I look forward to continuing sharing what I learned from India, Japan, and the world with you. Stay tuned and let's enjoy this beautiful life together!!
