India Time or Japan Time? Question of a Cross-border Freelancer

My first hanami (cherry blossom gazing) in the past 15 years was when landed at Narita International Airport on 13th April 2017. I felt welcomed as if sakura waited for me.

I am currently back in Fukuoka, Japan. As a freelancer, I am surely continuing my work.

Every time I wonder which is better and convenient, working in IST (India Standard Time) zone or in JST (Japan Standard Time) zone; but now I am almost convinced of that for my working style, JST defeat IST considering that many of my customers base in either Japan or India.

That is because Japan time is 3.5 hours ahead of India so I feel like I can buy extra time for the customers in India, while it becomes easier for me to catch the tight deadlines set by the customers in Japan. However, IST is somewhat better for the customers in Americas and Europe time zones because it is nearer to them.

One big problem being in Japan is the number of distractions! Many things to see and do in this small yet fun-filled country challenging my focus and concentration.
