Mangoes, queens of fruits, are treated special as they deserve in Japan!?
Three Japan mangoes grown in Miyazaki, Kyushu, are priced 6,800 yen (about 4,000 rupee).
When in the season in Pune between April and June, the price of a dozen (12) most premium Alphonso mangoes are 500 rupee, which is about 800-900 yen.
Normal yet juicy mangoes are sometimes as cheap as 90 rupee (around 150 yen) a dozen.
That's one of the best things to live in India!
