Puran Poli in Japanese Interpretation

Khazana was somewhat of a hidden gem in the hustle-bustle shopping center.

On day three of my Japan stay, I already started visiting an Indian eatery for dinner, this time the one in Yokohama.

The above is their specialty naan stuffed with red bean jam, and it reminded me very much of a puran poli, specifically the recipe in the eastern region of Maharastra.

I accompanied the cumin-seasoned shallow fried vegetables.

I am temporarily returning to Japan after my grandma passed away in the past weekend. She was 92.
