Yes, I am from Maharashtra, so what!?

After enjoying the beautiful evening with A.R. Rahman’s Public Lecture and Performance, “From The Heart,” on the occasion of his Fukuoka Prize award on 17th this month, I participated a party with people in Fukuoka who truly LOVE Rahman and India, to celebrate his prize and visit. It was held at an Indian restaurant "106" at Imaizumi I have once visited with my mother this year

The photo above is one of the delicious dishes the restaurant served on the day. It looked simple Aloo Bonda; however, the only and biggest difference from the conventional ones was, they contained juicy “beef kheema!” I was astonished but truly enjoyed them as a person who came from a beef-banned Maharashtra!

Another pleasant surprise on the night was that later we came to know that Rahman himself ordered his dinner from the same restaurant! What an honour!
